ब्यावर की मशहूर तिलपट्टी

ब्यावर अपनी स्वादिष्ट तिलपट्टी के लिए प्रसिद्ध है ! तिलपट्टी तिल और शक्कर से बनाई जाती हैं । तिलों को सेक कर गाढ़ी चाशनी में मिलाया जाता है । फिर लोये बनाकर उन्हें बेला जाता है ।

तिलपट्टीयाँ खाने में मिठी और करारी होती हैं । इसमें तिल की एक ही तह होने से ये बड़ी नाजुक होती हैं । इन्हें ठंडे व सूखे स्थान पर रखना चाहिये ।

कहा जाता है कि ब्यावर से बाहर (अन्य शहरों में) तिलपट्टीयाँ बनाने की बहुत कोशिश की गई परन्तु इसमें किसी को सफलता नहीं मिली ।

यदि आप ब्यावर शहर में आएं तो इन्हें अवश्य चखियेगा ।

Beawar is famous for its delicious tilpatties. They are made out of sesame seed and sugar. The sesamee seeds are roasted and then they are mixed with thick syrup to maके a dough and then pressed hard to maके it so thin that you can hardly see any overlapping seeds. It is crisp and sweet and taste great!! If you happen to visit this city, you can not resist tasting it and then buying for your family.

If you can not eat them all at once, you will need to store them in cool dry place as they tend to become sticky in hot and wet weather.

One more point is worth mentioning here. Many people tried to maके tilpatties in other cities but never succeeded hence it is believed that the climate of Beawar is perfect to make them.
