Six laning of Kishangarh-Beawar section of NH8 has been approved by Government of India. First stage of bidding has also been completed.

The section of NH-8 between Beawar and Gomti (116 km long) will be converted into two lanes and later into four lanes highway.

राजस्थान के एक महत्वपूर्ण स्थान पर स्थित यह शहर सन 1836 में बसाया गया था । जोधपुर, जयपुर और उदयपुर के बीच बसे इस शहर की शुरुआत एक सैनिक छावनी के रुप में हुई थी । इस शहर का नाम, यहाँ से लगभग 7 किलोमीटर दूर के एक गाँव, ब्यावर खास के नाम से पड़ा है ।

Beawar is situated at a strategic location in Rajasthan, India. The city was founded in 1836 as a military cantt, at an important location between Jaipur, Jodhpur and Udaipur.
It was named after a local village called Beawar Khas. It meets all the requirement for becoming a district, sooner or later it is going to happen.
